What is a cloud application?

A cloud application, unlike traditional software, is software that is designed and built to run on a server in a data center and accessed via the web.

The Problem

Each site visit required their engineers to complete paper job sheet and in some cases another sheet if gas was used. All this paper work then needed to be returned to the office and manually entered for billing and regulation purposes. This was very time consuming and prone to error such as paper work missing, wrong information entered, no customer signature etc.

The Solution

We built an app that allows each engineer to record all the relevant information electronically while on site. Once complete all data is saved and send directly to the office or to the client as an email attachment. If their is no 3g coverage it will send once back in coverage or connected to wifi. Customers signatures are gathering directly on the tablet or phone and included in the attachment sent back to the office. Exact start and end time can be tracked.

Multiple photos and be taken and included. Sketches can be made on photos to highlight a certain area.
The office receives all the job sheets instantly and invoices can be rasised and emailed that day.
